بوسه ای برای تو

And the god of gods seprated a sprit from himself and cereated in it beauty

He gave to it the lighteness of the breeze at dawn and the ftagrance of the flowers of the field and the sftness of moonlight .

Then he gave to it a cup of joy ; saying

" you shall not drink of it except that you forget the past and heed not the future .

And he gave to it a cup of sadness ; saying

" you shall drink and therefrom the meaning of life rejoicing . "

خداي خدايان نفخه اي از خويشتن خويش جدا كرد و در ان نفخه زيبايي را آفريد .

او به زيبايي،سبك نسيم سحرگاهي را اعطا كرد و رايحه گل هاي دشت را و نرمي مهتاب را

آنگاه خداوند جامي از شادي با دست زيبايي داد و گفت :

" تو نبايد ازاين جام بنوشي مگر آنكه گذشته را فراموش كني و به آينده اعتنايي نداشته باشي"

سپس جامي نيز از دست غم به دستش داد و گفت :

" تو بايد از اين جام بنوشي و معناي شور و شعف زندگي را دريابي . "

The bitterest thing in your today soroow is the memory of our yesterday joy

تلخ تربن چيز در اندوه امروزمان،خاطره ي شادي ديروزمان است

Upon a day in may ; joy and sorrow met beside a lake .

They greeted one another and they sat down near the quite water and conversed .

Joy spoke of the beauty which is uon the earth and of the daily wonder of life in the forest and among the hills and of the songs heard at dawn and eventide .

And sorrow spoke and agreed with all that joy had said;

For sorrow knew the magic of the hour and the beauty thereof . and sorrow was eloquent when he spok of may in the filds and among the hills.

And joy and sorrow talked long together

And they agreed upon all things of which they knew .

در يكي از روزهاي ارديبهشت ، شادي و غم در كنار درياچه اي همديگر را ديدند . به هم سلام دادند و كنار آب هاي آرام نشستند و گفت و گو كردند .

شادي ، از زيبايي هاي روي زمين سخن گفت ، از شگفتي هر روز ه ي زندگي در دل جنگل و در ميان تپه ها سخن و از آوازي كه سپيده دمان و شامگاهان شنيده مي شود .

آنگاه غمسخن گفت و با هر آنچه شادي گفته بود موافقت كرد ؛ زيرا غم ، جادوي ان لحظه و زيباييش را مي فهميد . غم ، هنگامي كه از زيبايي ماه ارديبهشت در مرغزار و در تپه ها سخن مي گفت ، بياني شيوا داشت .

شادي و غم دراز سخن گفتند ، و درباره ي هر آنچه كه مي دانستند با هم تفاهم داشتند .
